Garden Fresh

Arlo has taken a lot of ownership of our garden, this being the second year that he has planted seeds indoors in the spring, and seen them grow, and transplant, and produce food in the backyard.  Here he is inspecting some of our pink giant tomatoes.  Otis has at least stopped eating the green cherry tomatoes thus year.  Last year he bit into dozens of the things while they were still green.

With the recent spell of rain, we really enjoyed the past couple of days of nice weather here.  Today was a smoker, but as you can see by Arlo's outfit, we got into a lot of water play, and even visited a new splashpad later on in the afternoon.

Monkey boys

For Otis' second birthday, this past Tuesday, we all went to lac Phillipe, in the Gatineaus, for a couple of days of camping.  It was beautiful weather, though cold at night.  The boys swam and played on the beach for hours.  When we got home we put together Otis' new climber, and the guys loved it.  Of course Otis got to the very top on his first try!

Big boy bed for Otis!

Otis was really excited all day yesterday while we were out picking up the pieces we needed to build his very first big boy bed.  He just wanted to climb up on it and lay down once it was all together.  Now we can get the crib ready in the spare room for the baby in January.
