Christmas Eve

We usually head downtown for some last minute wandering through the Rideau centre and the market area on Christmas Eve.  Of course we finishing with a trip to parliament hill to see the lights.  Last year it was tahirt weather.  This year was warm, but at least we had snow!

Sno-fun

Now that The snow seems like it's here to stay, the boys are having a lot more fun getting outside having adventures.

Big boy bed

A weekend trip to IKEA, and a little bit of taking part of crabs and putting together beds, has resulted in Oscar and his first big boy bed! We painted his room just a couple weeks back, so this completes the transformation for the little guy and he's very excited.

Santa!!!

On a trip to the Carlingwood mall we got a chance to meet Santa in person!  It is early in the season, but we sat down with him to talk about our Christmas wishes.  That was just the start, because the next day we headed downtown to catch the big guy in the Santa clause parade.  It was cold, but also really fun, and they gave us a wack of candy canes!

Student LEDs

Today was Arlos first student led conference has a grade one student. He showed us the things he's most interested in, and it became apparent that math is definitely a passion for him. Also found out that he's been getting perfect on his spelling tests.  We told him that he should be proud, and he smiled in a kind of awkward cute way.

Last night was parent interviews for Jenny, so the boys headed out for some time at the Canadian history Museum and children's museum.
