Fun Farm Visit

After bringing the baby chicks home, we had to drive them out to Conden to the farm they were going to live on.  As you can see, it was a very interesting farm, and the boys had a great time.

Each year a few sets of chicks hatch at our (Ray and Arlo's) school, which means that most of the adult chickens on the farm were born at Churchill.  This batch hatched just over a month ago in Arlo's class, so he was very happy to get to visit them at their new home.  We sent a picture of him with some of the chicks to his teachers and they were very excited to know that he got a chance to visit with them.

The boys got a chance to collect eggs from the hens that were laying.  They were very interested in how warm the eggs were when they picked them up every now and then, meaning that they had been recently laid.

Oscar was so tired that on the ride home he fell asleep I'll snacking on the goldfish as you can see in the photo.
