The boys ran in the army run with over 10,000 other people this morning. Everybody who saw them either waved or gave give them high-fives. Otis didn't stop the whole time :-) He did fall three times but bounced off the palms of his hands and I scooped him up on the run, and set him down. His legs kept moving the whole time and he kept on running :-) We did slow down to a walk a couple of times. Arlo's feet were sore at one point around the 2 1/2 Kilometer point. We stopped at the water station. Daddy may have scooped up each boy for a 100 m piggy back once along the way, but each of them decided that it was better to run than to hold onto a sweaty daddy back. At the finish line they were full speed ahead, sprinting through everybody's legs, and waving. They were really happy to receive their medals for the run from a soldier at the finish line. Once we found Oscar and mamma we hung downtown for a bit before heading g home for a relaxing afternoon close to home.
