More backyard fun

Backyard fun with the boys

Don't eat that leaf Otis! Keep the sand in the sandbox Arlo! Keep calm Daddy!

Hi grandparents!

Tried skyping with grandma n grandpa K. who are in Biloxi, but the connection didn't work. The boys want to say hello to all their grandparents. Sun is out here finally, so we are off for adventures today. Maybe a trip to the experimental farm to see the baby animals.

Getting ready for Daisy's birthday party.  Hope she likes these flowers I picked out.

Family time walking the Jack Pine trail.
Hey mom, pull up my hat, I can't see!
This is the biggest marble I ever held!
I'll show my big brother how to do this
Hooray, hooray, hooray!

Winter Fun

We've been up to a lot of busy stuff this winter.  Arlo has been on skates for his first time, Otis is loving his jolly jumper that Santa brought, and everyone is having a blast with all of the crazy snow we have had up in Ottawa so far.

Getting ready for Christmas

Today the boys and their parents took a trip to Thomas' Tree Farm to pick and cut a tree for the holidays.  Arlo used his critical eye to pick out a beauty of a tree.
Hot chocolate, cookies, a wagon ride, and we got to cut ourselves a tree too!
The boys got into the decorating swing, and Arlo was loving the Santa hats.  I don't know how long the tree will keep it's decorations, at least the lower ones.  The tree also got a few random marbles added to the branches.  I am sure cars and trucks will find their way in their soon.
A couple of real stars.
