Gifts...

Three seems to officially be the age when you know how the birthday gift thing works. He was dying to open his birthday present from the moment he got up this morning, and was bursting by the time supper was done tonight. He loves the triceratops that Otis gave him. For two weeks Arlo has insisted that he would be getting a green ukulele for his birthday, which is why it was funny how surprised he was to actually get one. Overall he was a pretty pleased boy when he tucked off to bed tonight. Tired, having been up since 3:30am, but also quite pleased. From the start, to the nod, today had everything he could hope for. Every friend he wanted either came to the party, or stopped by to play at the house, he received some reall nice gifts, and he got o order pizza for dinner. Oh if every day...

Party Time

What better way to celebrate your big day than to get together with all of your friends for a play, picnic, presents, n cupcakes in the park?
As you can see, Arlo and his pals had a blast.

Birthday boy

Arlo was up and bouncing around at the crack of dawn today...wanting to get his birthday started. Here he is with one of his favourite play time activities, making a construction site with a sensory tray filled, today, with noodles, corn kernels, and wheat berries.

Breakfast in bed by the boys for their Mamma

Today started off early with some breakfast prep, then scones n eggs n fruit n juice for Mother's Day.

Carpet Fun

A little after dinner fun with brothers n their cars n trucks. The boys had a full day yesterday, starting with Otis n daddy baking scones while Arlo snuggled with Mamma way before six am. Then Arlo helped daddy get the rest of breakfast ready for Mamma in bed. They were excited for sure.
The boys send out happy Mother's Day wishes to their grandmothers.

First ever chip truck

Today was a special day for Arlo. He and his Mamma were talking about French fries and he learned all about what a chip truck is. Arlo loves trucks of all type, so this warranted a closer look.

Morning routine...

The boys like their morning routine. Arlo wakes up asking for raisin bran, and Otis enjoys some time to roam, and get into or onto a good book.
