Big boy breakfast

The boys are now both able to eat together now that Otis has grown enough to sit in his own little chair.  This chair and table set was daddy's when he was little, and it gets a ton of use with the boys now.  The only problem is that now mommy and daddy don't have a seat to join them in.
Start of school head colds have come home with daddy it seems.  Both boys are stuffed right up.  Poor Otis couldn't sleep at all (which meant neither could Jenny).  Hopefully it passes soon.

Happy birthday grandma Brown

The boys want to send out huge happy birthday hugs to their "Brown grandma" today.  They love ya very much and hope your day went well.

Last days of summer

We did our monthly measurements and Arlo has jumped an inch in height since July, and about nine inches in the past year. Otis is measuring up at almost the same height that his brother was a year ago...he is one now, and Arlo was two then!

Spray bottles on a hot afternoon are a huge hit right now.
The boys, and the kids in the hood, appreciate the new control panel daddy built for the play structure, complete with a whisper phone to the top floor (the plumbing pipe).

Camping trip

Our camping adventure was fun filled, and the boys loved every minute of it.  They enjoyed the ferry ride, climbing the cliffs, hiking, campfires, and, of course, beach time.

Happy first bday Otis

Otis had a most amazing day to celebrate his first birthday.  After some time out for a run with his bro, and dad, there was time spent at the splash pad before his friend Angus came for dinner.  Otis was so tired that it was dinner, cake, bath, n bed before we even opened cards or gifts!  Today Arlo woke pretty excited to get those gifts opened.  He really helped his brother get into the spirit of ripping gift wrap.  Both Arlo and Otis enjoyed this first bday celebration.
