Outdoor Adventures

The warming weather is finally allowing us access to areas that have been under snow and ice for the whole winter, such as the river pathway, and the sandbox.  The boys are loving the chance for new adventures after the long winter months.

Easter Morning

The boys were beyond pumped for Easter morning.  Arlo was up n down the top of the stairs like a rabbit trying to get the whole family to hurry up and come downstairs.  The bikes, and garden tool kit/spring outfits(for Oscar) were big hits, but of course it was the treats left by the Easter bunny that really had their attention.  They set off right away on egg hunts, and each of the boys proved skilled at noticing eggs.  They made sure to leave some down low for Oscar to find, and then we would all forget that there were some down low until he would come up and dump a partially chewed, with foil still on it, and all warm n melts Easter egg in our hands.  

Otis got really good at sniffing out eggs left up high.

Oscar loved the broom we got him.  Now mamma can sweep without having him attack her broom.

The chocolate high kept on rolling all day? But they got pretty crazy coming off that rush later in the day!!!

Egg mania!

The boys continued to find eggs that they missed until Wednesday orThursday. 

Department Store Fun

On a recent trip to the mall, the boys had a few minutes to kill while waiting on mom n Oscar.  That meant it was time for a photo shoot.  Check out the movie star shots!

New Bikes for Easter

Easter Egg Hunt in the Park

Today was the annual egg hunt at Mckellar park.  This year Oscar got into the action as well.  It was a beautiful day, and the boys had the greatest time.
