Night Hockey

The boys and their daddy braved the minis 40 windchill for some night hockey.  There was no one else on the rink, so we could go end to end, with daddy defending one goal and the brothers defending the other.  It was tiring to fly back and forth up the  ice, but how often Sonya get the whole rink to yourselves?  Fun and frosty!

Ski bum # 3

Oscar spent his first day on the slopes and had a fantastic time. He love going fast. He got in 14 or 15 runs on his first day :-). His brothers got a chance to ski with their mom for the day for the first time ever, and they have the greatest day.

Grey Cup Weekend

Last week we took Oscar to get a haircut so he could look like his brothers. Then on Saturday the boys and daddy headed out to the Grey cup festival. They got treated really well by everyone at the festival. Even got to meet some players and have the picture taken with the Grey Cup

The Big Night!!!

The boys have been raring to get going on Halloween since October 1 when they had us get out our decorations!  From the first awakenings this morning Arlo had his Kylo Ren costume on...and shortly after Otis got into his Darth Vader suit.  They were so excited after school that they willingly sat down to dinner almost a half hour earlier than we ever usually eat.  A trip around our block, to very generous neighbours, who all spoiled the boys, was all they needed before wanting to come home and sort their booty.  

Oscar loved zooming around in his Lightning McQueen costume, and he got a lot of smiles along the way.  He really enjoyed looking through his loot afterwards.  Now for the Halloween hangovers!  Hopefully the sugar will be out of their system by the weekend.
