This past Tuesday the students from Room 308 at Churchill Alt. threw a "surprise" baby shower for Arlo. They arranged for Jenny to come to school during the second break, and they organized to bring in a variety of food and drinks. There were a good number of parents who took time out of their day to drop in for the shower. The class had a great time checking Arlo out, and then they presented him with a number of thoughtful gifts, including a wonderful quilt they all helped to make. Each of them created designs for the different squares of the quilt, and Cheryl Brouse, Ray's classroom volunteer extraordinaire, quilted the various pieces together.
